LogoResult List S8E Carl-Neubronner-Cup 1996


The new S8E-P class had its premiere at the Carl-Neubronner-Cup 1996. Normal S8E is flown for maximum duration while S8E-P consists of 4 minutes timed flight and a precision landing - with penalty points for landing too early or too late, and bonus points for landing close to the target marking band.


Some of the winners (left to right): Franz Weißgerber, Hans Stoll, Otto Nachtmann and Hannes Delago. At the outer right is the sponsor of this event - 100-year-old Carl Neubronner! He was the one who started with rocket powered gliders in 1912.
